ltd 2019 repress - debut album from blawan, possibly one of the finest techno records you ll hear this year ... physically and mentally draining in the best way possible, wet will always dry is maybe the most complete statement from blawan to date, and as such should be ignored at your peril. this becomes evident from the album-opening “klade,” a dizzying, tumbling flight of pure energy over overlapping fields of electrified menace. this sets the stage for “careless,” which retains the hazardous, crackling atmosphere but dials back the intensity just enough to make room for a new feature, blawan’s eerie and disembodied vocals.

ltd 2019 repress , black vinyl - for all the acid that is coming out through this so-called -acid revival- i was somehow missing the good old hook of the 90s acid-techno tracks. after countless requests to do some new acid again it finally clicked with me and i had this - in my opinion - great acid hook to jump along to for the acid to the future track. i really love this one and it could ve been big in the 90s i guess...so hopefully this will click with the listeners also today :-) acid funk and acid jaxx pretty much speak for themselves and are funky groovin acid tracks with a more modern touch mixed with the old vibe flavour. machine banger is definitely on the harder side and was done for ferox this is acid... nothing else- va compilaton on kobayashi.hands up and have fun... we love and release on vinyl !

re-release: released in 199, the sound of electro / techno came to a point where it had to evolve into a new and more grounded entity, keyed into funk / space & rooted origins that reflected an ever-changing landscape throughout detroit and the aux-quadrant. the bouncy bass line soul of posatronix project emerges in silence among several platforms without hint of a proper biography or introduction. later on the guard would be let down that an original lineup member from aux88 (william bj smith) either produced or inducted a spin-off group over seen by aux. no video, photos, or interviews accompanied the music. now in 2018, we re-introduce these dance floor/ dj crate mainstays that have continued to be cherished classics from the very men that not only too rhythmically-funky electro by storm, but raised the bar and took matters into their own hands. 100% mechanical electronic funk.

nice price deal !!! the ninth release on viennas meat recordings sees another ep by the label boss gerald vdh. >otto wagner green< marks the next big step forward in the artists career, as he explores his roots in bass music and neurofunk, while still maintaining the spirit of techno music in every piece included on the four tracker. the a-side features >creature of habit<, a stepping techno tune with drum&bass references and a remix by matt mor. on the flipside gerald pushes the limits even further. the title track >otto wagner green< is a melodic and breakbeaty declaration of love for his hometown vienna. the ep closes with bassy and trippy >against the current<. upon listening to his new release one has to say, that gerald vdh has definitely found his unique sound and his niche in electronic music.
wolfskuil for its next instalment welcomes ambivalent and physical therapys new collaborative project pta. ambivalent (kevin mchugh) has been a force for good techno for over a decade and his extensive discography includes appearances on cocoon, hotflush, kompakt and ovum. physical therapy (daniel fisher) is allergy season label head and resident at nycs nowadays. he has released on labels including delft, liberation technologies and unknown to the unknown.
